NSL Championship 2001

Defending NSL champion, DeLand PD Blue, did not give up easily. Even though the Golden Knights were the high favorite with PD Blue hardly training at all, the competition between the defending and the new NSL Champion was interesting enough through all eleven rounds. The first showing of DeLand Majik as a guest team added some extra spice.

Majik made a huge statement by outscoring the Golden Knights through ten rounds. Nemesis won the well deserved bronze medal with a season-high average of 14.7 points. Xodos won the Intermediate Class competition with their highest average of 13.5 points. Vertical Junction placed second with a new team record of 11.6 points. Opening Shock took the bronze medal.

A total of 16 teams competed at the NSL Championship 2001 at Fantasy of Flight and helped making SkyQuest a huge success. More information, stories and lots of pictures will follow very soon. The NSL headquarters apologizes for the delayed scores. It was a very busy week.....
